Saw a listing for a HP DL380 Gen10 with 2x Gold 6148 CPUs and 192GB RAM for $299 on eBay. No drives included. Is this a good deal? What should I look out for when buying used Gen10 gear?

That's a solid deal if it POST and iLO works. Gen10 has good driver support. Watch out for: missing iLO license (can be worked around), older firmware (update before putting in production), and check if HPE Smart Array is included or HBA.

Pull the trigger. 2x Gold 6148 is 20 cores / 40 threads per CPU, so 40c/80t total. 192GB RAM is plenty for homelab work. I paid more than that for my Gen9.
